Core Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings and execute plans with exactness.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials according to specifications and Craft high-quality custom cabinetry with precision and efficiency.
- Assemble cabinets and furniture using various tools and equipment
- Install hardware such as hinges, knobs, and handles
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role in the restoration industry or related field
– Strong knowledge of different types of wood materials and their properties
– Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
– Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements
– Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
– Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in cabinet making.
– Proficiency in using a variety of woodworking tools and machinery such as sliding tabel saw
– 40-hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Training certification.
– A track record of accountability and adherence to safety protocols.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
The physical requirements for a cabinet maker typically include:
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to use hand tools, operate woodworking machines, and assemble detailed components with precision.
- Strength and Stamina: Capability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment. Must be able to stand, crouch, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Hand-Eye Coordination: Proficiency in handling tools and materials accurately to avoid waste and ensure safety.
- Vision: Good eyesight for detailed work, including close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Flexibility: Able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.
- Endurance: Capacity to undertake tasks requiring extended periods of physical activity.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
